The elephant was caught during a major manhunt in Goalpara district, Assam state on November 11 after killing five villagers in October. Since then, locals have put their own list for this ferocious elephant. “Laden”, after the terrorist leader Osama bin Laden.
After his arrest, he was given the name “Krishna”.
On November 12, the elephant “Laden” was transferred to Assam’s Orang National Park, where experts planned to teach it to patrol wildlife parks and reserves in the state, but it Exist died on 11/17.

“The animal lives normally. However, its legs are tied so that it cannot escape,” a park ranger said.
The cause of death is still unclear, but a senior official said the state government has sent a team of veterinarians to perform an autopsy.
The Indian Forest Department plans to tame it, using “kraak” – a controversial training regimen used on young elephants but criticized as torture.
Wildlife conservationists added that the elephant is believed to be 35 years old, making it unfit for captivity.
Nearly 2,300 people have been victims of elephants in India over the past five years, according to official figures released in June.
However, according to officials, 700 elephants have been killed since 2011, in part because of shrinking natural habitats.
