Ballon d’Or 2023: Real Madrid’s Vinicius Jr, Bellingham and Modrić Among 30 Candidates for Prestigious Award

On Wednesday, the 30 candidates for the prestigious Ballon d’Or award, which recognizes the best player in the world based on their accomplishments in the 2022–2023 season, were unveiled. A ceremony in Paris on October 30 will reveal the winner. The winner will be chosen by a group of foreign journalists.

Among the competitors are some of the most well-known football players.

Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Jr. are the other Real Madrid players on the list. Vinicius Jr. had a fantastic season for the second straight year with the Spanish giants. Bellingham, who mid-season went from Borussia Dortmund to Real Madrid, was the best player in the Bundesliga.
