When Valverde unexpectedly entered the Getafe match as a substitute and wore a bandage on his right hand earlier this month, everyone was taken aback.

However, Valverde is now playing without any issues. The midfielder is still experiencing pain in his right hand, but he is able to play through it.The Uruguayan international may so continue to play for Real Madrid in the coming weeks.That being said, it won’t be shocking to see him have a break when Real Madrid begins their Champions League campaign this coming midweek.
