It’s been a very trying week for LeBron James and his family. Today, though, James and his youngest son, Bryce, were back on the court. James, like every summer, used the offseason to debut his latest signature Nike sneaker.

Nike LeBron 21 photos were leaked online months ago. However, James’ Instagram post (played to the tune of Drake and 21 Savage’s “Rich Flex”) provided fans with their best look yet at the unreleased hoop sneaker.

The 2022-23 NBA season was a watershed moment for James. In addition to leading the Los Angeles Lakers to the Western Conference Finals, James established himself as the NBA’s all-time leading scorer and celebrated two decades with Nike. As a result, the Nike LeBron 21 has a high bar to clear.

At first appearance, the Nike LeBron 21 appears to be a substantial upgrade over its predecessor. The mesh upper appears to have been replaced with what appears to be a patent leather upper. The two Swoosh branding have been removed, and a more sculpted heel has been added.

Athletes and fans will be pleased to learn that the shoe appears to be another low-cut type. The Nike LeBron 20 was the first sneaker from James’ signature line to be released as a low-top, and Nike is following suit this year.

Unofficial photographs never do basketball shoes credit, but we’re psyched about the Nike LeBron 21. The gold hue debuted by James is eye-catching and will undoubtedly be another superb performance model on the hardwood.

There is currently no announced release date, technical specifications, or pricing. The sneaker, like its predecessor, will most likely be released in the fall of 2023 and will cost roughly $200.
