Stephen Curry achieved a new milestone shortly after NBA All-Star 2024, when he appeared in the Golden State Warriors’ “destruction” of the Los Angeles Lakers on their home court.
Stephen Curry is well-known for his ability to score points, particularly long throws, and he has set and still holds a number of records. But, in addition to finishing, the Golden State Warriors star is still a point guard who frequently creates scoring opportunities for his teammates.This morning (February 23), he achieved a new milestone in this regard as his Warriors colleagues destroyed the Los Angeles Lakers at home.

Curry even chose to celebrate with Draymond Green over Wiggins.Stephen Curry became the eighth player in NBA history to have at least 23,000 points and 6,000 assists after surpassing the aforementioned assist milestone.The seven prior names who have done this include the legendary Oscar Robertson, Jerry West, John Havlicek, and the trio of still active players, LeBron James, Russell Westbrook, and James Harden.On the other side of the front line, the Los Angeles Lakers were once again in a chasing position, but they were unable to replicate their comeback from the previous match. At the time, LeBron James and his teammates overturned a 15-point deficit and triumphed 145-144 after two overtime periods.The Los Angeles Lakers lost 128-110 sans LeBron James (ankle injury). They were 17 points ahead in the third quarter and “raised the white flag” in the midst of the fourth quarter to prevent the core team from having to play back-to-back games the next morning.
