Looking for some cuteness and warmth in your life? Here’s a delightful tale of a sweet little dog named Plum, who is deaf and partially blind. Despite her challenges, this 10-month-old Australian Shepherd will definitely tug at your heartstrings. Her imperfections make it challenging for her owner to take care of her, especially when it comes to waking her up without startling her.
She startles easily at the slightest touch. However, one guy discovered a method that gently rouses his dog from sleep without startling her. He’s found the perfect solution – blowing softly on her face to wake her up. Despite Plum being fearful and jumping up at first, she soon recognizes her owner’s scent and relaxes. Aiden has had his own struggles, but he’s learned to embrace his differences and find solutions that work for him and his furry companion.
Back in July 2019, a six-month-old deaf and nearly blind dog was taken in by a man. Plum, the snow-white pup, was temporarily living with one of the man’s colleagues before he quickly fell in love with her. He knew it was the right decision to take her in as he already had a daughter named Lola and believed that Plum deserved to be part of a loving family and have a stress-free life.
Naturally, we encountered some obstacles due to the limitations of Plum. However, the primary hurdle we had to overcome was figuring out how to effectively communicate with her and determine what methods were successful. It took a lot of trial and error, but we managed to adapt. Despite the challenges, Plum remains the most delightful and endearing pup around.
