Even though Jude Bellingham did not score like the previous 4 matches, Real Madrid still knew how to overcome Sociedad 2-1 in round 5 of La Liga to regain the top spot in the rankings with a winning record.

In La Liga this season, rookie  Bellingham  integrated very quickly into Real Madrid’s playing style and showed specific value through goals. In Real Madrid’s first 4 rounds, Bellingham scored in every match.

After “opening the queue” with a goal against Bilbao in the opening round, Bellingham scored a double against Almeria, had another goal against Celta and in round 4, the British superstar even “opened fire” in the match. Minute 90+5, helping Real Madrid beat Getafe 2-1.

In this match, Bellingham had no goals or assists. Bellingham ended his streak of 4 consecutive scoring matches although he still played relatively well and was scored 7.2 points by Sofascore. Real Madrid’s highest scoring player is Fran Garcia with 8.2 points thanks to a very important double assist.

Before the match with Sociedad took place, Real Madrid was temporarily taken top spot by Barcelona (5-0 win over Betis). But with the comeback against Sociedad, Real Madrid returned to the top of the table with an absolute 15 points after 5 rounds.
